THE TIN MAN FINISHES AND ADMIRABLE 3RD IN PRIX MAURICE DE GHEEST

Posted on: 5th Aug 2018

THE TIN MAN prior to be being saddled in the pre parade ring. As always very laid back.

Fred Archer Racing - Ormonde's THE TIN MAN ran another very honest and admirable race when making up a lot of ground to finish third in the Gp1 Deauville sprint. He was one of the first to be put in the stalls and was getting a little restless as it took quite a long time to get the big field of twenty in. Tom Queally felt it would be better to get him settled before asking him any questions having got upset. Unfortunately we were not drawn the side of the pace and consequently got further back than ideal. THE TIN MAN did his best to make up the ground but was never able to catch the two the year olds. He is a wonderful horse and the yard and his partners are so proud of their gelding. He always tries he very best. He as always was very laid back on what was a very hot day.
