THE TIN MAN arrives in Hong Kong

Posted on: 3rd Dec 2017

THE TIN MAN had to endure a very long journey to Hong Kong. It took them twenty six hours from door to door and he was very tired on his arrival. We had not expected it to be quite as long or that they would be stopping off in Milan. The plane was also very late leaving Heathrow. This is his first trip abroad and we hope that we will be able to do more oversees trips with him in the future. He has had a lead out this morning and it depends how he is tomorrow morning before James decides what he will do with him.

His trackwork number cloth is yellow 13!!!

Warwick on December 16th looks to be the course we start MASTER ARCHER off on his hurdling career. Leighton Aspell might come and school him again this week but he said that he could now go off to the races.

We have we have EXCELLERATION on the go now and he is looking in good form and we will be stepping up his exercise in the next few days.

LORD GEORGE all being well is off to Newcastle on December 16th for his next race and looks absolutely amazing at the moment. He ran very well at Newcastle in the Northumberland plate when he was only beaten two and a half lengths to finish fourth.

We have a new yearling filly for the Fred Archer Racing - Spinaway syndicate. She was bought earlier in the week at The December Yearling Sale at Tattersalls. She is being broken now and is taking everything in her stride and is liked by James Owen she is with at the moment.

MAZZINI and iNDULGED were both given bad draws in their races this week and neither ever really had any chance. MAZZINI was slow away and was running on at the finish without ever looking as if he was going to get there and iNDULGED had to go wide the whole way.

It looks as if we will have three runners this week WOOTYHOOT, ENFOLDING & ENVISAGING. They all still look great and have been going nicely.
